( Sansa is actually quite nervous so when she goes to the door, her hands are trembling as she undoes the lock and swings the door open. Baby is there filling up the frame, though, looking quite handsome in something a bit more formal than she's used to seeing him in. Oh. Now she feels a bit silly for only wearing a dressing gown. She should have worn one of her finer gowns, actually, but she supposes that it doesn't matter. She swings the door in and offers her hand to him. )

I thought we might go upstairs. You haven't been upstairs yet, have you?

Hey,

[ Baby takes her hand, but apart from stepping in and closing the door behind him, he doesn't move, anchoring himself a little, halting Sansa in her movements. He had a feeling this might happen, and he smiles as he pushes his sunglasses up and into his hair. ]

Hey, slow down. We have all night.

[ He tugs at her hand, just to get her close enough to kiss her forehead, lingering there for a moment. He knows how it feels, to want to get it over with, the anticipation eating away at your nerves. But he wants her relaxed.

A tall order. ]

Should have brought you flowers.

I like flowers. I would have liked that. It's possibly something to remember for the next time.

( Sansa presses up against him, laying her head against his chest and shoulder. He's tall enough to let her do this and it's so wonderful - she's never been matched with anyone taller than her and certainly not as tall as Baby is. It's nice to feel small and protected for once when she's always been so tall. )

I've left candles burning upstairs, however, so we should possibly go up just to watch them and ensure nothing catches aflame. You'll indulge me?

Duly noted.

[ He wraps an arm around Sansa's waist, taking more of her weight, his hold gentle as he chuckles. Flowers, candles, the whole nine yards - it's not something he's used to, his idea of romance a little more modern, but he can appreciate it all the same. And Sansa is old-fashioned, delicate, used to a world extremely different from Baby's. Indulging her is no effort. ]

Of course.

[ And so he follows her upstairs, feeling like he's discovering a whole new side of her with every step he goes up. ]

( Sansa's bedroom is a place that she's always kept just to herself. She hasn't always had that luxury so since she's had it here in Cadelle, she's kept it off limits to everyone, even friends. Letting Baby into it is something a little frightening for her, since it means letting down walls, but she's comfortable with it. The bed is large and takes up most of the room and Sansa curses her choice to not put any other furniture in; there's nowhere else to sit. She toys a bit with the belt of her dressing gown before rising up on her toes and simply kissing him. )

I'm nervous and terribly excited. It's making me act strange, I know, but this isn't something I've ever chosen to do before.

[ Baby looks around, taking it in. He knows this is a very big deal, to Sansa, and he not going to diminish what it's taking for her to do this, to let him in, to open herself up like this. She's only ever known hurt. ]

We don't have to do anything. [ He means it, the words whispered against her lips, his eyes half-closed. He means it entirely, wholeheartedly, and he hopes she can hear it in his voice. He smiles, pulling back just to be able to look into her eyes, fingers playing with her hair. ]

I'm nervous too, if that helps any.

No, I know we don't have to. I just simply want to and I want to do so because I don't want to always be afraid.

( Sansa catches his hands and puts them at the waist of her dressing gown, right where it's tied closed. )

I trust you. Do you trust me?

[ It's more important for her to trust him than the other way around, but Baby just nods, fingers first squeezing her waist gently, through the layers of clothing. ]

I trust you.

[ And he unties her dressing gown, eyes darting down as it falls open, mouth parting on a shaky breath. ]

( Sansa's pulse is fluttering wildly now and she's blushing hot; only Ramsay and Theon had seen her thus and she doesn't count that. She shrugs her shoulders to let the dressing gown fall to the floor and turns to put her back to him, gathering her hair over one shoulder. )

My laces, please? I'll want to be comfortable.

[ Baby swallows hard, his fingers grazing her shoulders over the material of her nightgown. He's surprised to see she's wearing a corset over it, but he reaches out for the laces, untying them slowly.

He keeps his eyes focused as he pulls the laces through the holes, loosening the corset slowly, but deftly, fingers precise as he grows more accustomed to what he's doing. ]

I've never had to undo a corset before.

( Sansa laughs sweetly and tries to hold still while he's undoing it. He's not doing a bad job of it, honestly, and she wouldn't know he's unpracticed by the way he loosens the laces. She lets out a long, slow breath and gives him a look over her shoulder. )

It's a good thing to learn, I think, if you're going to play lady's maid.

Oh, is that what I am?

[ He smiles, leaning down to press his lips to the spot right under her ear, moving down to the hinge of her jaw. He’s slow and careful, while his hands keep working at her corset, until the laces are all the way off and he can pull it off of Sansa, taking in a moment afterwards. ]

Here you go.

( Sansa nods and turns a bit, moving so she can face him properly instead of having her back to him. Once she does, she lifts her hand up and draws it against the length of his jaw. )

Yes, you played lady’s maid for me just now. I liked it. Should we sit down now? I’m not entirely sure how to begin.

[ He licks his lips, fingers running down along her arms. ]

You should sit.

[ Baby guides her to sit at the edge of her bed, leaning over to kiss her, gentle, as he slowly lowers himself to a crouch in front of Sansa, hands dropping to her knees, staying still for now. ]

( Sansa sits on the edge of the bed before him, back stiff and straight as she tries not to tense up. Only one man has ever touched her or seen her below the waist and she doesn't have good memories associated with him; it's going to take some time to associate this touching with only Baby. )

What shall I do now? Simply wait in anticipation?

[ Shaking his head, Baby moves to his knees, straightening up to kiss Sansa. The goal is distraction - last time they ended up making out like this, she got into it, and he knows it. Sure, he's the one that had to force them to stop to keep embarrassment at bay, but he knows that Sansa hadn't been left unaffected.

He wants to get back to that point, to have Sansa aroused, wanting, and so he kisses her, a hand framing her face, intent. ]

( Kissing is something she’s comfortable with now. Sansa loves to kiss Baby and when he surges up to kiss her she meets him in kind, lips parting beneath his and hands grasping his shoulders before slipping up to play in his hair. If the other things he does are as good as kissing, Sansa is more eager than afraid. )

[ For a while, that's all he does. There's a part of Baby that wants Sansa to almost forget what they've discussed, to let it be something that happens naturally, but he knows better. And so he kisses her, his free hand on her knee, tentatively moving her slip up, fingers grazing her skin. He knows she'll stop him if she wants to, so he shuffles closer, on his knees between her legs.

When he breaks the kiss it's to kiss along her cheek, her jaw, down to her neck. Wanting her to feel good. ]

( The touch against her knee is new but Sansa is comfortable enough with it. She trusts Baby to be gentle with her and she has to give him the chance to prove himself if she’s ever going to make this a regular part of her time with him. When his kisses move to her neck, she makes a soft noise; desire for her is apparently audible and this is something she never knew about herself before now. )

[ When Sansa doesn't stop him, Baby keeps moving his hand up, spreading his fingers over her thigh, gentle as ever, slower than he's ever been. The circumstances are so entirely different from anything Baby has ever known, and so he's extra careful, kissing up to right below Sansa's ear, back down to press his tongue against her pulse point. ]

You okay?

( Sansa gasps a bit when he moves his hand higher on her thigh but it’s Baby and she trusts him. She knows he isn’t going to hurt her and that alleviates a lot of her nerves. To show him that she does trust him, she reaches down and takes his hand lightly, guiding it higher up on her thigh than before. )

I’m fine, Baby. I assure you of that.

[ Baby smiles, nodding as he pulls back to look into her eyes, staying just as intent and soft as he wants her to know he is. His heart is hammering in his chest, nerves flooding him as he wants to make this so right, so good for Sansa. The situation isn’t exactly natural, feels a little overplanned, but it also matters to her in ways Baby can’t know.

He runs circles on the inside of her thigh, shuffling a tiny bit closer. ]

Lie back, [ he says softly, nose brushing along hers. ]

( Sansa gives him a soft little smile and nods a bit when he instructs her to lay back. She has to put her trust in him for now that he'll do something that is going to feel good and be different than any sexual experience she's had before now. They've all been terrible before this moment; she cannot imagine that anything with Baby could be terrible. Everything about him makes her stomach flutter and her heart beat just a little bit faster, as if she's that naive girl that believes in the songs again. )

Please?

Please [ He agreed, voice low as he nods. Baby moves, only to kiss her shoulder through the fabric of her shift, and follow down along her arm until he gets to her hand, kissing every finger, every knuckle. He knows she’s putting her trust in him and he doesn’t intend to betray it, and so he takes his time, soft and slow until he’s moved further down Sansa’s body, his lips against her knee. ]

( Sansa had expected him to put his mouth against her immediately so the fact that he's doubled back to kiss her in other places makes her relax and sink down against the bed in a way she hadn't exactly anticipated. She's not strung quite as tightly as before, not as worried about how it's going to feel. When his lips touch her knee, she presses her lips together in a failed attempt to suppress a long sigh. )
