I've never been much of a reader.

it's all i ever did.
that and art.
my mom used to say i'd end up with a permanently curved neck because i was always bent over a book or my sketchpad. i think that's why she tried to get me into painting. so i'd stand up once in a while.

I didn't have that much time to read, back then.
I wasn't very studious. Too busy being angry about the fact that I suddenly became an orphan, I guess? I don't know. I spent more time out of school and driving cars than I did the other way around.

But you're studying art here too, right? That's what you want to do.

i keep thinking about it? but i don't know, i got into the brooklyn academy of art back home and i was so excited.
and then people died and it just felt useless.

okay, sure, so you gave it up, back home, because you had all of these things happening. But why not do it here? Pick it back up? It's your passion, you shouldn't let it go.
